Law Mei Fong has more than 15 years working experience in full set accounting in Singapore with a wide variety of financial roles, including international construction company, and smaller family-owned business. She oversees the financial management and reporting activities of the company and is responsible for budget planning as well as supporting the executive management team.
Tan Pei En
Product Development Lead
Pei En has worked in BioCheetah for 2 years since 2018. He has been involved in the further development and technology transfer of the prototype kit that was initially developed by the research laboratory under Prof. Jean Paul Thiery in IMCB.
Senior Research Scientist
Jill was trained in Biochemistry and did her PhD in Microbiology. Her post-doctoral fellowships had covered the fields of natural products discovery and development, parasitology and molecular biology under two distinguished PIs, Robert CY Ting and Professor Hong Wanjin in the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB, A*STAR). She has a patent on the identification of malaria by polymerase chain reaction method and many scientific publications on various fields. She continues working on her passion in protein chemistry and production at both BioCheetah and IMCB.
Sayantani has worked with Prof. Jean Paul Thiery in his IMCB, A*STAR lab for 7 years acquiring relevant experience in biomarker identification from clinical samples. She has been involved in the bladder cancer biomarker identification study since the inception of the project. She is the co-author of the main publication “ Highly sensitive and specific novel biomarkers for the diagnosis of transitional bladder carcinoma” and a contributor to the background patent. As a research scientist in BioCheetah, she conducts the process of antibody generation followed by production of the diagnostic kits and accomplish successful preclinical trials with partnered hospitals.
Clinical Trial Manager
Royce is a clinical research professional with more than 7 years’ experience as a Clinical Trial Coordinator, Clinical Research Associate and more recently as Clinical Trial Manager for both BioCheetah and LionTCR. He has prior work experience in both contract research organizations (CRO) and pharmaceutical company environments. As the Project Manager, he was responsible for performing budget management, assist in the protocol development and various essential documents for both regulatory submissions and conduct of studies. He also had to work closely with various CRO vendors to ensure objectives and study milestones are adhered to. His regional work experience includes Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and China. His experience in therapeutic areas include oncology, cell therapy, neurology, dermatology, rheumatology, central nervous system medication, endocrinology and cardiology across Phase I – III clinical trials. He has undergone regulatory audits and is fully ICH-GCP trained.
Quality Assurance Manager
Joe is a Quality Assurance (QA) professional with over 10 years’ of industrial working experience in pharmaceutical, medical device and health care related products industry. Being in the QA profession allows him to ensure that relevant quality standards are met while providing him with the opportunity to manage a variety of innovative projects and collaborating with other team members to accomplish the shared visions. Joe was involved in the process of setting up a full-fledged Quality Management System for a Singapore-based medical device company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. His responsibility includes setting up and implementation of the Company’s Quality Management System and ensuring that all the standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to by the Company’s personnel.
